Haven't seen this in a dedicated thread yet, so figured I'd make one. Similar to the previous thread I posted - that GPUs and CPUs can complete the same types of WU - PG have decided to implement the QRB (Quick Return Bonus) system for GPUs. As some of the other teams have found out, initial PPDs are showing some fo the 6xx series (and the 570/580 I think) to be getting over 200k PPD - pushing single GPUs into 4p territory.
Now, at the moment there is only one of these WUs in ciruclation (P8057, a beta WU), so this might change when the final WUs are released (Folders who were around for the GPU3 release will remember GTS 450s handling the beta WUs fine, but then falling away from higher end GPUs as the bigger WUs were brought out). However, sicne this has been internal testing by PG for some time, I think it's safe to assume this is the type of PPD range we can come to expect, unless there is some massive outcry from the Folding community.
On that note, there are several discussions around (the main links for the threads I've seen are linked below), and the purpose of this thread is to get some comments going on OCN - both on actual results Folders here are seeing, as well as future implications for our team and the Folding@Home project.
