Please do not feed this troll. Nothing wrong with Asrock at all.

That is indeed a rare chip. Treasure it! thumb.gif

Nope, some of those boards provide significantly lowered voltage readings, only the Fatal1ty boards it seems.

I meant all boards, pretty much all manufacturers. It's pretty rare to see software measurements match up with actual DMM readings for things like vcore, vdimm, etc.
Sometimes only .001V difference, sometimes a lot more depending on a board make & model. For example, I've checked the vdimm on about a dozen different boards, & never seen one where software reported voltage is the same as dmm measured voltage. Most are close, but had an evga x58 that was about .05V off, set 1.65V in bios, software reads 1.67, actual 1.72V.
The IMC voltage on the GB x58 OC was even farther off the mark for software vs. DMM, closer to .15V difference.

I just got my 3570k running in my new system. It prime's stable at 4.5 on 1.208v for 10hours. I haven't pushed it further as I only planned to run it at this 24/7. Its on air with a Noctua NH-D14 hit a bit over 70degrees under prime for that 10hour test, normally sits on 50-60 under load while priming.

same temps with me, but i need a 1.26v just for 4.3ghz, i got one of the worst chips in terms of voltage....oh well as long as the temperatures weren't bad, but that makes me not able to get to 4.4ghz and up without hitting 1.3v, which i consider kinda bad.......
