Overclocking stability questions GTX 570 hd

This may be a bit of a repost, so sorry if it is.
Ive been trying to overclock my EVGA GTX 570 hd graphics card for a little while now.

the issue is, well, when i overclock the GPU i get sever stability drops. after playing a game for like 5 minutes the whole system crashes.
overheating CANT be an issue because i just intalled a massive new cooler, the arctic cooler accelero xtreme III. the GPU never gets over 45 degrees with the new cooler.

the default specs of the card are

core: 732 MHz
ram: 1900MHz
shader: 1464MHz
voltage: 1.000 Volts

so far im trying to get it up to 822MHz with 1.050 Volts

what i want to know is is this card good for overclocking?
am i not giving the gpu enough power, or even too much?

the main reason i bought the new cooler was to overclock the card anyway... so i'd really like to get it overclocked.

i have thought about that, but i have seen people with the exact same card getting their's up to around 900MHz. i know no 2 cards are EXACTLY the same, but i mean is that big of a discrepency possible??

UPDATE: i have gotten the core up to 820 MHz stably. i clocked the RAM back to 1800MHz to do so.

this makes me belive that the ram might not be getting enough power? should i change the GPU ram power at all? if so how would i go about doing so? MSI afterburner only has a setting for the core voltage.

So ive done moar research and i see it is (or at least was) possible to change the GPU ram voltage. i heard that NVIDIA locked all voltages, so the tripple overvoltage feature of MSI afterburner has been disabled. is there anyway i can enable it or is there some other program out there?

Ok well im trying to modify my bios using nibitor, and i cant seem to get it to work.

when i load the bios into nibitor, all the settings are greyed out. i cant change a thing. ive tried like 4 different versions of the program, and ive tried re-saving my bois multuple times.. please can someone help me? i know im not the ONLY person on earth who cant OC a graphics card.....
