I think that if you're very careful over the next 15 days, then you can get through it unscathed.  That way you'll be able to get a much better PSU than you otherwise would if you were to buy tomorrow, and then you wouldn't be stuck with a limiting PSU.

 

Although, what's their return policy?  hehe  :)

Did find some reviews saying that it was nice. smile.gif They say that the manufacturer was HEC.

I really don't know because I have been so careful, careful to the point that, I already turned my FX4100 to a 3GHz dual core, because lately it freezes from time to time even after disabling cores and underclocking it, so I'm a bit worried.

Well, their return policy, if I'm not mistaken, is about 2-4 weeks out right replacement, and warranty depends on the item. Usually 1 year for these kinds, not sure though.

Well, I'm just thinking that you could try getting a PSU tomorrow and then returning it in 2 weeks for the 520W Neo Eco.

I could do that. But I found an Antec PSU that might be what I need in a rush! I used the psu calculator provided on the other thread here, only shows that I only need 435w total (wont be overclocking though). Putting my trust to that, I think this may be a GOOD find. Also read some reviews on it. What do you think??

Wow.  If Hardware Secrets likes it (that is, for what it is, which is a budget PSU), then I say get it tomorrow!  The only reason I didn't mention it before is that it's not on this list:

The VP350 is mentioned, and so is the VP550 and VP650, but not the VP450.  So, I started to think that maybe it's just not safe to recommend.  However, now I'm thinking that maybe it has been overlooked!

 

Still, I would try to return this in 2 weeks to replace it with the Neo Eco if possible because it's a better PSU.

Yeah seems really a good psu for it's price. I will also do what you said, replace it after 2 weeks for the Antec Neo Eco psu just to really be on the safe side. biggrin.gif Thanks a lot! biggrin.gif
