Windows 8 weird mouse feel :mad:

Hello everyone,

i have fresh installed windows 8 since today.

The feel how the mouse reacts on windows 8 is very weird compared to windows 7 in my opinion, anyone noticed this?

It is....faster..and inaccurate at the same time.

Any way to patch the desired *.sys back to windows 7?

Windows 8 uses mouhid.sys.

Edit: Enhanced pointer precision is deactivated. My mouse -> Kinzuadder

Not sure If placebo or not, but I'm partial to agree that windows sens certainly feels different. Back on 7 tho as program compatibility and openGL performance was subpar on 8

I wonder if anything was changed in regards to Mouse Ballistics in windows 8? I don't really mind if it's different if it's for the better and not for the worse.

Installed windows 8 the other night. I've done a few hours of scrim matches since then. Feels exactly the same.

I thought I felt something different at the beginning but as I had both systems installed then noticed that it was just my imagination after a while of booting 7 ans 8 back and forth.

Maybe the lack of start menu is tricking your mind.
