What color was the indicator light on the power brick? Are you running a Slim or a Phat console?

Also, are you using the ORIGINAL power brick that came with your console?

Answer those, and I can more than likely help you out or point you in the right direction! thumb.gif

Pretty sure the original power bricks have a fan in them... probably time to clean it out.

At least it's only your power brick and not the actual console. I sent mine in twice and it still died on me for a third. That's when I decided to go crazy on it youtube style with my katana. What I didn't realize is that the new slim ones aren't compatible with the HDD, I was planning on using my bro's one to get all the games and vids I have on it to a flash drive. So long story short, clean your power brick.

Not quiet true. I believe you can just pull the apart the casing on the old 360's hhd and put it into the slim. You may want to use some sort of padding or steal the sled from the new one.
