Newegg already dropped the price of the 32GB to $250.00. i dont want a 16GB model I was just stating that you can get a Nexus 7 23GB for $250 but apples mini is 16GB or $330.

I know apple doesn't want the device to fall into the market of less "premium" devices, but honestly, they're selling a device with the specs of an iPad 2, which at this point in the game is quite outdated compared to just about any other tablet on the market.

If the mini had been released a year ago, it might have made a compelling case for itself. Now, however, it is simply behind the times.
It's not behind the times. It's still a powerful device, and it does compete with the other tablets but that's more so because of software than hardware, though the weight and battery life of the Mini is fantastic.

It's iGear, what did the iHaters expect? Of course its not the most powerful, and has a considerable cost.

I would personally never buy one, but I'm sure they will sell just fine. If sales don't hit projections, it will be more due to market saturation than the Mini itself.

As a neutral in the Apple vs World war, I can say to the "World" side that you shouldn't miss the fact that Apple support is pretty awesome compared to most other companies. We have gotten great support with my wife's iPad 1, which she got shortly after its release. I was always impressed with it, and I'm sure it would be the same with the Mini.

So much buttocks kissing in one article that it makes Apple fan-club communities look adequate.

I went out and bought a 32GB Black WiFi iPad Mini today. It's absolutely fantastic. The display is large, it's easy to hold and incredibly light. Very happy. Unless they can bring the iPad 5 down to 400g I may stick with the Mini line.

The iPad Mini just seems like a marketing ploy. I feel like all Apple seems to be doing is testing the water to see how well their sub 10" tablet sells. Then 6 months later they will release an iPad Mini 2 with a better processor and screen. At least that is how I see it.
