CPU Cooler w/ Ultra Kaze

Thread Starter
I'm upgrading from a AMD 955 w/ Coolermaster V8 to a FX-8350. I currently have my Antec 902 fitted with 4 Ultra Kaze fans and I would like to have a CPU cooler with the same. I don't care about noise, it helps take my attention off background noise, like my wife.

Does anyone have any recommendations? I was thinking about the Noctua NH-D14 and replacing the 120mm on the outside with the Ultra Kaze. It should mount easily enough.

My wife asked if I could make my PC any louder, help me achieve this. =)

Thanks

I have a big fan that came out of a dell work station. The thing sounds like a jet engine. When I get home I'll take a look and see what dell it came out of and send a picture of the fan.

Nice, I wonder if I can find some fan clips to allow an additional fan on the outside. I would also be curious if it will really do much more cooling.

In item 4 of my sig I did a review of lots of fan combinations on the D14. However, for true fan goodness I would recommend the original Silver Arrow. It has space for two 140x38mm fans. It comes with two 140x25mm PWM TY-140 fans, which are excellent.

Just make sure you have low profile RAM.

Thanks for all the input. I've decided to go with the HE01 w/ a Delta 190CFM

I'm excited, everything should be here next week. Its been 3 1/2 years since I've upgrade, other than my SSDs. Now I just need to wait for the AMD 8000 series to replace my 4890s.

Thanks again.
