I guess I'll use your own argument. The co-op games in Dota 2 are very good and fun. The bots ward, lane switch, gank, punish overextending, execute cc-chains, support TP, and deny. They let you practice and learn basic mechanics as well as lane mechanics more than well enough to prepare you for real games.
Don't try and say someone didn't play a game long enough to understand it, when your entire rant is based on you not playing a game long enough to understand it. No one is going to play nice with you when you de-rail a thread with a rant about something completely wrong. Dota 2 provides much much more information and practice to new players than League.

Couldn't agree more! I never played DOTA in my life. Hopped in DOTA 2, got my brownhole handed to me. Went to practice, and actually learned! Those bots sure know how to punish! LoL however, you will learn the basic, basic, basic mechanics, such as q,w,e,r,a,s 1,2,3,4,5,6 keys. That's pretty much all it will prep you for; learning your champion's role.

I only put all of like... 6 hours into Dota 2 just playing with the bots redface.gif, and they sure drag the game out because they play really well.

The bots on LoL are way better compared to when they first came out with co-op vs. ai, but they're still a cakewalk. In co-op vs. AI i pick Caitlyn, run to mid, pick Yordle Traps, and proceed to ROFLstomp the mid bot.

I crying out loud, i fired up LoL the other day after not playing the game for almost a year. Picked Cait, and still proceeded to ROFLstomp the bots :/

Hey guys, I haven't been on overclock but I have been playing a dota a lot this past year since I did start this year xD But this event is really fun :] and dota 2 is a great game if you haven't played any moba games befores, its my first too!

On the effect, it is super fun, because the second part, everyone has to team up and kill roshan, enemy team too, and you get a crap load of gold to buy really crazy items to take him down, it's really fun biggrin.gif

There's quite a bit of updates. It's the same core game with a few more heroes added, new items, etc. Think all of it done by IceFrog, where it's done with an editorial style rather than the LoL style where you're focusing on adding oodles of new content.
well, depends on how you approach the issue.

In the game that I was playing, all I didnt know was how I buy items, the looks of each hero and stuff, I knew almost all of the heros, the skills, the items, the item recipes, the map. I will not say that I never want to play again, but I will say that it is not majorly attractive.

I even liked war3 graphics better. I mean the graphic effects of dota2 are awesome, but the general graphic style is too cartoony. It's like the Diablo graphics style vs TL argument all over again.


though if OCN has a team (I dont mean a team of 5, I mean like a club) that gets online at odd times, I wouldnt mind start training again just to play with our friendly folks.
