Could I hook my ps3 up to this and make it work?

Sometime when I get my paycheck I want to buy a ps3 and hook it up to this monitor using an hdmi cable:

I wanted to know if it was possbile that once I hook it up, if i can use my gaming chair for sound. I have a vrocker, heres the model:

The only thing I'm worried won't be compatible is that the chair uses the old school red and white RCA audio connectors. The monitor does 2 inputs for audio, the black and green one. Will it be compatible?

Okay yes you can.... your video will come out HDMI, but you will have to use the old school cable hookups for the audio... you will have to change in the audio settings... Its really easy once you are in there.

I forgot to ask will I need any converter cables, or will I bill able to put the red and white hdmi cables into the green and black inputs in the monitor. I'm guessing no.
