Can someone put together a pc build for me for 4500usd?

Yeah title says it all. I don't anything about computers so I don't know what extreme performance parts goes with what. It would be cool to use that z77 oc formula motherboard that I see advertised on the right there, unless it's out of my price range.

I want a really powerful computer that can run multiple virtual machines, render two-two hour videos, and play Skyrim at the same time.

I also need(other than my ssd) another 3tb hard drive so please factor that in. I'll be doing a lot of video editing.

EDIT: Someone also suggested building two separate computers; one for rendering/vm machines and one for gaming.

You can build that computer for less yes, a lot less. self built is always better than pre-built.

main advantages with xeons is that they are geared towards workstations. they support multi cpu motherboards and ecc/registered memory.

honestly i think if you build it yourself for around $2000 you could have everything you need and possibly more.

Bam! all for under $3000 with some upgrade paths and that's because i was splurging alot! But anyway this thing should build your own as you can see its a hell of a lot cheaper and its fun as hell and addictive. Any this thing should take anything you through at it. SO HAVE FUN! I really can't imagine how much power that is; having more than one cpu. Can you give me an idea with a specific example of what I can do maybe?
Ya know kind of like how pluto is to earth like a pea is to another pea on the other side of a football field.

Well this is how i think of it imagine your driving a car and you get T-Boned by a UPS truck and lets say the impact of force is how much a normal high end computer can do. Now say were in the same prediciment and your driving again down a road and this time you get his my the same ups truck thats attached to the front of a bus. thumb.gif Thats about how much power i think this computer is. A complete and absolute overkill.

sim~build (Click to show) Here's my try on your build based on SB-e Intel 6-core procie and 2011 x79 platform mobo, I used a crossfire HD7970 for better compute performance during rendering, I use a Catleap IPS monitor for 1440p on the budget if ever you want 2-more of this on eyefinity triple monitor which may come by your budget at $4500 total. This is a good start. But I would take this build and change a few things OP.

First get rid of the 1000w PSU for a nice 750-850 Capstone series max. Get rid of the GTX 690 for 2 HD 7970 Vapor-x GPUS, they will run faster than a GTX 690. Also, the ram is not good for this high end of a machine. Instead grab some Corsair dominator platinum 16GB of course.
