Whats the first thing to change?

Hi there, im owner of a pc which looks -/+ like that
My first question for you is which part of my PC will be the first one to change, or theres any that should or could be changed anyday, to boost PC. Another 8gb RAM perhaps, or new MB, or CPU? Im considering buying SSD but does win7 launching 10secs faster make the difference?I would like to know how can i upgrade my PC with the limit 500$.

The second problem, reference GPU is REALLY LOUD, and its a big problem for me, however the fan is rather efficient, the gpu when playing worse optimized games like Sleeping Dogs can heat up to 100C (and its not OCd yet). Fan after 70% becomes unbearable. my request is, could you recommend me some kind of cooling limited by 200$ budget, i wanted to install arctic 79XX xtreme but it wont fit to my case, i was wondering if theres any choice at the market, or arctic is the only way. after research i did, i started to consider buying a new case. I could buy and mount Alpenfohn Peter 79XX and choose top fans, but i cant find any article with those coolers both compared.

What will be better, did anyone have any experience with those coolers?
Alpenfohn Peter 79XX + 2x Noctua NF-A9x14 PWM 92mm
+ 2x
or
Arctic Accelero Xtreme 7970

Finally, i thought, the year ends, soon we will welcome the new year and new GPUs, what do you think is it worth to spend money on current card, or sell it and buy new when it finally comes,[dream]some gtx700[/dream] or just non-reference model of the same crd.
Conclusion, i need an advice if theres anything i could do for less than 500$ and its worth the price (ram,hdd/ssd,cpu,cpu,mobo?) and want to see your point of view about those two coolers, thanks in advance

Your 7970 is still an awesome card, attach the Accelero Xtreme to it.

You have a solid computer. I would add an SSD, but not change any of the hardware, as there will be no noticeable difference unless you plan to bench. If your cooling is unacceptable, maybe you should look into a water loop, but I have no idea what your case is, so you may have issues keeping it all internal.

Pretty much the same build as me. It's a solid rig, but I'm more partial to nvidia instead so that's what my choice is going to be. A nvidia card and a SSD. You'll never know how good SSDs are until you actually have them. I've got two in RAID0 in my rig and it's just awesome.

I'd honestly get a z77 motherboard, and an SSD. Atleast a 128gb.

The P67 motherboard is fine, why change that? The benefits are hardly anything compared to the cost... yes if you didn't own the motherboard then it's worth the extra $20, but not worth an upgrade in my opinion, especially with a Sandy Bridge chip.

8GB is plenty.

2500K is great

7970 is awesome.

So the upgrade you want is an SSD! I'd recommend a Samsung 830 (or 840 if the price is similar), 128GB or 256GB, use the HDD you have for storage. This will make the world of difference, it'll feel like a new computer... yes the boot time is slightly quicker, but it's the responsiveness that'll blow you away.

As for the noise issue... how do you feel about water cooling? If not, I'd recommend the Arctic Accelero Xtreme 7970

Cheers,

DB
