Sleeping Dogs & Windows 8 issue

Thread Starter
Hi folks,

Just wondered if anyone else was having any issues with Sleeping Dogs in Win 8 Pro?

Keep getting strange lines coming from light sources / rays.

Kinda worrying because it looks similar to overheating artefacts, but it isn't. The card is only at 55C max.

Haven't noticed any of this behaviour in any other games in either Win 7 or Win 8.

Just want to know if anyone knows how to get this playing nicely in Windows 8.

Cheers

For those who reviewed the gaming performance under Win 8, they sighted problems with Sleaping Dogs under Win 8.

I've been using windows 8 since rtm and I played the game a while ago too never noticed issues but I only played until maybe midway before I uninstalled the game by mistake >< Had the settings cranked to the max though.

Doubt it's Windows 8, I've been playing Sleeping Dogs on max graphics without issue in Windows 8.

Just keep messing with the settings. Check the shadows and various lighting settings and double check them in NCP.
