Document Management Software

The company where I work is currently looking for a good Document Management Software that can be installed in a server.
The company is small we are only 7 people in the offices, I dont really think we need a DMS but the owner want it so I have no other option than to look for it :/

So guys what I need is DMS to install in the server (for storage) and in the clients Pcs.

Can someone please point me to the right place to get the DMS.

The owner will only want to have it until he/she realizes the price. A few of them we looked at were $60,000+, and then they have limits on how many documents you can bring into the system (Depends. We looked into a DMS to help streamline data entry through scanning and faxing).

A few options to look into are Filebound, AX (but I can't find my previous information. Had something to do with EMC software), or since you are small enough you could try to leverage Sharepoint. I'll warn you, the sales team at filebound can be a bit pushy.

Personally, I make due with a 2008R2 server (VM) as a file server still. We're getting up on 70 people. I'll consider moving on when some other necessary software supports data importing from a DMS. Until then it's not worth if for me.
