Red and green have different scaling in Heaven, but it's consistent so as a measuring tool I can see how well performing your card is. Iirc, a 1350 680 Lightning did about 63fps.

Here's my old gtx 680 bench:
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Card was stable at 1.45GHz 1.36v on water.tongue.gif

Nice suicide run. The fastest single gpu run I've done is 66.2fps at 1330/1800. I have a card that clocks to 1350/1850 but it's slotted in the 2nd slot. Next week I'm gonna overhaul the loop, and I'll have a chance to swap the cards around. I wonder if I can get a similar score but with a hundred less mhz? thumb.gif

The 680 graph looks like an sli/cfx graph with all the drop offs.

Hows the gameplay in M2033 compare between the 2 cards?

Why you only test at 1050, you pulling a TPU and trying to create NV favorable scenarios biggrin.gif

It sort of sheds some light on the small screen liability of the 7970 doesn't it? The smaller res certainly benefits the 680, but oddly enough you're the only one whose noticed it G. wink.gif

You might not see any notable difference . My Heaven score is about the same or slightly lower with my GTX 670, I tried Skyrim and it was the same as 310.33 Beta.

For an Nvidia vs AMD thread, this is one of the better behaved ones I've seen in this site thumb.gif
post #88 of 107
Ouch, even more of an ouch when the GTX 680 is £100 more expensive then a 7970!!

If Nvidia lower there prices they'll start giving people something really hard to think about...

Good to know. Again my many thanks for doing this for the community, some of us prefer user benchies than some of the reviewer ones.

Bump for updated data. There wasn't much change overall and what there was seemed to point down.
