Really???

Sorry, but 3570k is definitely a better bang for buck. No way the 3770k is half again the price better, not by a long shot, not even close. Heck, even last gen 2500k is still better value.

I question this poll.

Out of these two,, the 3770k hands down. It not only performs faster, but what is available at MC for 229$. The 2600k, is no longer even available at MC is elsewhere had for roughly this price! Further, the 2700k, IS available at MC, for no less than 219$....smh. This makes it not even a close comparison: $229 for the 3770k, or $219 for the 2700k? Unless you NEED to overclock more, for the same performance as a lower clocked ivy, and also want older tech....Yeah, not even a close comparison. A sandy needs to oc more to keep up, and the IB can oc decent, even more room if you have water (I dont). To boot, they are all obviously priced significantly higher elsewhere. Therefore, the 3770k ends up being best bang for buck between these two choices.

In fact I'm looking at the MC ads, this makes no sense. 2700k Sale price $219, regular rice $369, 3770k, sale price $229, regular price $359. Anyone else think this is poor marketing, or whatever?

The 3570k is the real winner (once again, MC is the standard of pricing in my experiences for cpus, gpu is a diff story). Its what I just bought. So, I second this man Quantium40

If you are close to a MC then yes, but not an option for most I would say unfortunately frown.gif
