I built A6-3670k based gaming PC for a customer's. It's nice and stable at 3.3 and geekbench's at 7k in 30bit. I used a 6850OC with a bit of overclock 925/1225 and was getting 3D Mark 11 benches in the 4K range..It seems pretty viable for a low power system being used by a 12 Yo.

But with the polls here, I'd go for a 6100. Minimal price difference, but definitely is better

The intent wasn't to use the card. When the project started it was a computer to do homework and play light games online…Then the games became more modern and at 1080..either way it runs decent for 60 a 65 euro CPU.

Write in for FX-8320. Anything under $200 is value in my opinion (Intels value list has two processors near $300) and with AMD you need all the fake cores you can get.
