Bumping post to see if anyone can answer my questions from before.

Does anyone know the difference between the XMS and this CMX product. Second what would be good timings for this memory? I was thinking 2.5,3,3,5? this memory capable of this.

I think (dont quote) XMS is a series name and CMX is the prefix for the product in that series. Example: i have an XMS series stick of ram and its product number\
ame is CMX1024-3200C2PT. CMX being the XMS identification, 1024 being it's size, 3200 meaning its PC3200, C2 meaning CAS 2 and PT meaning it has platinum heatsinks.
