CS:GO is only worth $1. Might as well be FTP considering how awful it is. Was a big fan of source, played it competitively for quite some time. CS:GO is Source with a little more eye candy and a god awful hit code.

Netcode is actually vastly superior to Source. Seems like you're too use to a much easier game where you're allowed to continually spray and headshot players. Which has nothing to do with hit reg.

Every professional player enjoys GO over Source for the vast improvements of hitreg, smaller hitboxes, and a much larger penalty while moving and shooting.

Agreed with above post. Netcode is indeed vastly superior on GO.

And therein lies the problem: CS:S was broken for ages and when they attempted to fix some things with a patch people whined. Just because the vets have adjusted to the broken system doesn't mean it was the best way. Props to twitchyzero for this post:

It's like the Street Fighter fanatics whining that SF3 was better than SF4 just because they were better at it. Just because you know where all the cracks are in a particular system doesn't mean that system is best.

In CS:GO you can be directly in front of an enemy without any movement, pumping rounds into their skull and not one bullet registers - this doesn't mean spamming, I'm talking about controlled bursts.

If you consider that "vastly superior netcode" then you need to play a game that has a definitive and accurate hit code like Quake 3 Arena (and the mod Urban Terror). CS:GO's hit code is terrible, no matter what you say to try to justify it. It makes the hit code in MW3 look good in comparison, which is another game that has a completely random and inaccurate hit code. CS:GO was a step backward for Counter Strike.

Again, your issue is controlled bursts. It doesn't work in this game, you're better off 1 tapping. Everyone in the pro scene likes that this games netcode is much better than Source, the only issue anyone really has with it is the interp even when set to the lowest setting. I have played games that use the Quake 3 netcode. It's a great netcode.
