Every professional player enjoys GO over Source for the vast improvements of hitreg, smaller hitboxes, and a much larger penalty while moving and shooting.

This lol. I went back to source for a couple matches and I just couldn't stop getting headshots. I got so many headshots it seemed like I was hacking. CS GO may not be as good as 1.6, but it's definitely better than source.

Don't get me wrong, I have over 1000 hours of CS:S logged and it was my favourite game for the longest time ever, but the competitive match making in CS GO is just too awesome. I can't speak much about the pub experience in CS GO though, since I only play competitive.

No, we don't need another Combat Arms. Leave CS for the passionate and competitive players.

for years CS was free. it was a HL mod. it did perfectly fine as a free game. when source came out then CS was no longer FTP. honestly the CS competitive and regular community was better during the 1.5 and 1.6 years

Free is different from free to play.

If people are still working on updating my favorite game from roughly 14 years ago then I will happily give them $10-15 for their time. I still remember lugging around my 15in bubble crt and 45lb tower to lan parties, blowing out the power in a library because we had to many surge protectors plugged into eachother haha good times. I'll never leave this game and find CS GO as a great addition. Anytime I want a quick fix of stress relief I crank up the bass and join a dogz gaming server for some deathmatch goodness.
