I cant ping my wireless printer

I can see my printers IP Adresss on my routers page, but using Command Prompt i cant ping it, i cant add it manually using the IP Address in the Add Printer section either. Why cant i connect to the printer if my Router sees it??

Printer: HL Brother 2270dw wireless
OS: Windows 7 Home

It's probably just residual from the DHCP reservation.

I'd reset the printer and see if you get anything.
My HP printer hangs occasionally and won't reconnect but it's pretty infrequent.
