HTPC build for recording PC & Console footage. Components?

Thread Starter
Pretty simple really, this will be my first time building a HTPC and was wondering the best would be for recording gameplay footage from my PC and Xbox?

Budget: $400 including OS.

What I have:
i5 2500k,
240GB PCIe RevoDrive3 boot drive.
6950 (don't think I'll need it but there you go)

It doesn't need to be tiny, but the smaller the better.

Thanks.

Avermedia Live Gamer HD PCIe H.264

that's what i'd go with

its 200$ on amazon

and it uses a hardware compression engine so your CPU wont be doing any compression

it records 1080p at 30FPS or 720p at 60FPS

plus it has a cool red button you can press to start recording:D
