I'm sure the EA free game(s) code is going to hit them hard in the third quarter.

So many.

I said "we like options" and not many people trust EA and to be honest I cannot blame them. Valve has a large investment in the PC market (as do other digital distribution sites) and their success relies on the PC, but EA has their fingers in a lot of pies and has had prior moments of being untrustworthy. I would use Origin, I would, but unfortunately I don't trust EA, but I trust Steam, Green Man Gaming, GOG, etc. because they've got a somewhat large investment in the PC while EA gives us half baked ports year after year with a focus on marketing towards console gamers.

Lets face it anyway, Origin for the majority of PC Gamers is a dedicated loader for Battlefield 3 and that's all it is and that's all it will ever be.

Something's obviously going on, but for them to blame one single title as a point of failure... immature, in my opinion. They could have said they over-projected or something; I'm sure those marketing guys could've put a spin on it, but wow.

[Off Topic] The new need for speed is a bit....lacking, especially comparing directly to the first/2005 release. Very disappointed...

I guess it had nothing to do with the generic 6 hour campaign attached to multiplayer game. Listen EA, if you wanna just release an ONLY multiplayer game with no dedicated servers, that fine, just don't latch on a piss poor single player campaign and expect to sell it for $60. Take Counter strike for example, no single player and yet one of the most played multiplayer games ever.

I'm still boycotting ME3. I loved 1, 2 was good. 3 isn't even worth playing to me right now. My around Christmas I probably give it a shot.

@NateN34 For $12...... I might give it a shot today though. #KEEPFIGHTINGTHEMAN

You guys really need to get off this anti-Origin kick. It's getting old. Everything you say is wrong with it, Steam has been doing for years.
