My DTA-100a is toast and I am looking for a new amplifier. I would try to fix it myself but I have no idea how to detect what is wrong with it. Even if I could find out what is wrong with it I have only very minimal soldering experience that I learned in high school auto class. There's no way I could solder things to and from a PCB.
My current setup is a pair of Dayton B652s which has the specs of: 40 watts RMS @ 4 ohms. I'm looking for a good 2 channel amplifier that can support that kind of power. I'm also looking for a good RMA policy in my future amp in case it goes south too.
I've already ruled out Lepai since their packaging is so inconsistent that they appear to be a fly by night operation and Pyle for their terrible RMA policy.
Thank you,
Matt
