I am looking forward to playing halo 4. I am a pretty big halo fan, I have read all the novels which are actually amazing and give halo huge depth. In terms of the game my favorite was Halo 2, Halo 1, Halo 3, and my least favorite was Reach simply because the level design was awful. From what I have seen of Halo 4 it looks amazing. The improvements to forge will keep me playing for a very very long time.

(Excuse my mood I just woke up):

What kind of psyche makes you think that because of your time enrolled on the forum you can make inflammatory comments like that, it almost seems that all your observations have ever done is make you one of them, probably because you relish the thought of jumping in and joining. Folks used to say the forum was going downhill with all the new members and the new ethos but it's some of the long-standing members that continue to keep it held back into what it used to be, which was more like a Youtube comments page at times. Read this thread now and note all the lovely comments, I don't see anyone who has come into a Halo thread to say they don't like Halo. Thank god that you have not been satisfied.

Um, anyway I really need to get myself a console or they need to bring it out onto PC because I haven't played Halo since 2 I think... I miss it.

I was like 9 when Halo CE launched and the most fun I had in it was playing through the campaign on coop with friends, alternating every time someone died, etc. And doing it again every time a new one came out, up until 3. My brother and I had sold our xbox some time between Halo 3 and ODST, and never got another one so I've never played ODST or Reach.

I wish they would just make this for PC. I'm going to be forced to watch a walkthrough on youtube just so I can see how they continue the story, can't really afford buying a console for 1-3 games at max. thumbsdown

Looks like 343 managed to bring back some of the magic from the first Halo, and that's great. Too bad Microsoft doesn't care about PC gamers.

Did you play Halo 2 on Xbox LIVE when it was popular? If you didn't, I don't think you have a very good grasp of what made Halo 2 so awesome.

Nah...I played every Halo besides the turn based spin off..And Halo 2's multi player is better than CE's. Although CE's campaign is the best so far.

I agree. Halo 2's multiplayer was unrivaled. If you played Xbox live in 04-06 you'd be lucky to find a match in any game but Halo 2. The community was amazing, gameplay was stellar, and the replay value was high because no one had seen a highly MMO first person shooter on consoles before.
