Incidentally, that is something Apple got right: form factor. Don't care for much else but they definitely nailed the size down with the 4S. The 5 is a good compromise for screen size.

Get a RAZR i/M if you care so much. I've had hands on with it, it seriously feels a bit like the perfect size.

How long has 4.2 been out? Why in the hell are they releasing a phone with 4.1?

my wives iphone 4s feels to small in my hand compared to my S2 4G HD which is bout 4.7-4.8 inch screen not a standard s2 it has 1280x720res qualcom scorpion 1.5 Ghz cpu and the andreno 220 gpu i think almost as good as the s3 really and imo more powerful than the iphone 5... just sayin,
saying all this i do have rather big strong hands as i work with them all day

You never mentioned specs in your post. God forbid a phone has a dual core processor. Lol. It's a fact that people want a bigger screen so your going to have to put your big boy pants on at some point.

My newest phone (Meizu MX) keeps the form factor I like and competes well with other flagships. Top 4 or 5, in fact, factoring in the brand new Optimus G. thumb.gif

At any rate, my sentiments were written here because they are pretty common (which I'll qualify by saying among my peers, coworkers, and those with whom I interact regularly at work and home); I'm not the only one who thinks "Damn, that Nexus is cool but it's big." To be honest, I'm not even sure I'm a minority in that. The fact is most people don't have the option to choose between great smartphone and great form factor - you get one or the other, unless you go the route I did. It's my hope that'll change soon, because....

The iPhone has had a huge impact on the size of phones that people prefer. As popular as the iPhone is, it does not take a rocket surgeon to figure out how to capitalize on soon-to-be-former iPhone owners by offering extremely capable, possibly flagship phones in a form factor closer to what they're used to.

Although I do stand slightly corrected. Here's the article: Samsung's Galaxy S III Mini blows away iPhone 3GS, yes, the 3GS.

(phone specs here. Be sure to compare and contrast with the iPhone 4, HTC Desire HD, and other 2009-20011 phones. smile.gif)
