No unfortunately Intel locked overclocking on its lower end CPUs & Chipsets.
You can't overclock on the following chipsets: H61, H67, B75, H77
You can overclock on: P67, Z68, Z75, Z77

However, you might get 100-200MHz by changing the BLCK from 100 to 103 or 104, but it might become unstable.
You need to stress using something like Prime95....

i assume BCLK means the base clock right ? i think since intel differentiates each of its pentium cpu's with 100mhz increments for the same chip and just renames it so maybe i can get to 2.9 or 3.0 ghz as well coz this is what exactly intel does in the factory as well ?

Problem is bclk can't be radically changed...intel changes multiplier on their silicon, fsb/bclk can be changed but it messes with the pci-e devices frequency, soundcard, storage, so it's limited.
You can onlu change it to 102, maybe 104mhz, and some boards and cpus can't even take a 1mhz increase and boot or even risk losing data.

I have a z77 mobo, and when I had a celeron g530 (selling it right now) I could not overclock it, although I had no intention to, it would not let me set the multiplier any higher than the stock speeds.

Correct me if i'm wrong but didn't some people from Egypt or somewhere within the middle east release something which allowed the i3 chips to be overclocked, and in turn thhe Gxxx chips?

I swear i read it somewhere, it was intended either for the i3 2330 or an earlier chip, not trying to pull anyones leg here.

I Lost the article, but here's a 100MHZ boost which gives it a little something.
