Help with Evga 560TI

Thread Starter
I bought this in February and it has been working fine until this month or so. Whenever i play BF3 i see little cuts in the textures. And today while playing Dayz it started to get really pixelated and the image would turn black. I ran Evga OC Scanner and the temperatures get up to ~85c and it states that GPU Throttling has been detected. What can i do to solve this?

The "cuts in the textures" you are referring to is most likely screen tearing. Try enabling V-Sync to get rid of that. Adjust your fan profile to run faster sooner, and it should prevent it from getting into the upper temperature ranges that result in throttling.

Is it OCd?

The GPU is throttling because the temperatures are too high.

If you "messed" with it in Afterburner, you might have overclocked it beyond what is stable. Set everything back to stock and see if that fixes the problem. You really can't "mess" around with an overclock, you have to do it right or you'll start to run into issues. Just a heads up. thumb.gif

suggest that you adjust your fan profile, my Superclocked (dual fan version) has only peak out once at 78c after adjusting the fan profile it peaks at about 69 to 74 depending on the game/software I choose to run.
