[BI] Apple Has To Apologize For Its Half-Hearted Attempt At An Apology To Samsung. - Page 10

1. Its only on their UK site, and out of sight as possible - okay fine.
2. No apology, just trying to promote themselves by quoting their products are cool.
3. Stating other courts decided Samsung did copy Apple. Isn't this belittling the UK courts decision?

I hope the Judge brings the hammer down hard on such disgusting behaviour.

Not "I'm" or "We're", and "sorry" in there anywhere.

Yup, the word "apology" wasn't even in there. I'd love to know how to apologize without actually apologizing.

We spent a lot of time indoors sheltering from the rain so we get a lot of time to think about things.

And of course the bizzare judge in Holland, and the one in Australia, and the couple in America.

So what you're saying is that you have nothing to back up your claims, no proof, and are really just spouting off mis-information as if it's fact.

GOT IT.

I don't care how he ruled in the case TBQH, I just find his "punishment" stupid, and unusual. I'm glad it blew up in his face.

Honestly it is quite funny to see the bickering of semantics back and forth. At the end of the day Apple didn't do what they were told to do and they got caught. Now they have to go back and do what they should have done in the first place. End of discussion.

Edit: I can't tell if they shot themselves in the foot or they are doing this for more publicity.

Lol, what mis-information. It's right there in the ruling. Apple ahd been stating that their had infringed on their designs and Samsung requested and injunction against that. The judge denied it but forced Apple to put up the notice. That had previously and throughout the case been saying they had copied.

Again, right there in the case files. Go look at them. I wouldn't want to waste my timd finding you the evidence because I know you have little regard for it.

Oh and you are having a laugh, aren't you? You're the guy who repeatedly fell short when asked for evidence.

Apple clearly stated they were wrong about Samsung's copyright infrigement and stated so on the site.

The court mandated a form of words to use in the notification, Apple added to that without permission.

[quote Why should it be on the homepage, exactly?[/quote]

Because that is what the court ordered.

(copying the iPhone design and claiming otherwise)

Except in this case the court decided that the did not copy the iPad design. This is the whole point of the notice. It doesn't matter what you think, in the UK legally Samsung did not copy the iPad. Innocent until proven guilty and all that.

It didn't "blow up in his face" - Apple violated a court order and have been instructed to correct it. If they refuse then it will blow up in Apple's face.

It doesn't matter if you think it was wrong, bizzare or an African elephant; the court ordered something, Apple lost the appeal, now they have to do it or face the consequences.

Deal with that.

Oh and you are having a laugh, aren't you? You're the guy who repeatedly fell short when asked for evidence.
Wow if you expected Steve Jobs to be held in a sanctimonious manner on this forum you're in the wrong place, mate. This isn't an Anti-Apple forum by any means, but I don't think you'll find anyone where who wants to refer to Steve Jobs as the "beloved". You're a bit out of place.
Oh and the point is Apple needs to deal with Steve's death and get over the whole Android thing. All it's doing is tarnishing their image.

You repeatedly said Apple "slandered" Samsung, when it did no such thing. Maybe you misunderstood my post. You've thrown that around a few times in this thread as if it's fact, when it's blatantly false. Also, no idea wth you are talking about with the evidence thing.

You are just calling me "pro apple" instead of addressing my points. Strong argument bro. thumb.gif
