I need a webcam for Skype and a microphone for gaming

Thread Starter
Hi everyone, I've been in the process of building my computer for a while and I just need to get a webcam and mic to complete it.

I've seen a few webcams with microphones, but I'm concerned about that as a closer microphone would probably work better. People always complained about the noise in my laptop's microphone, and although this computer only makes a fan noise that's so smooth and quiet I usually forget it exists, I think it would be better if the mic was closer to me.

I got HE-400 headphones, I'm not sure if there's any mics you can just attach to headphones, that would be nice.

I was also looking at the Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000 and it seems to have very good reviews. However I know nothing about webcams and microphones, so I'm open to any suggestion.
I've been looking at sticky's before posting for the other parts so I could make more informed questions, but I couldn't find much about these parts.

Thanks in advance!

Sony Eyetoy. This thing is amazing for how old it is. Zero lag and perfect quality. I saved the drivers for Windows 7. Don't know anything about good mics though.

I've got a Logitech C910 webcam, very good on both mic and webcam side of things. Fantastic quality picture and sound.

For the mic I would go with a Zalman Mic 1 Link Its a clip on mic that you can just clip onto your headphone cord.

For the price, the sound quality is pretty good I have had mine for around 2 months now.
