Hello once again my mates today my question will be mainly the A10 4600m vs the i7 3610qm-3630qm
So the budget was 1200$ so i found multiple options and i want to know which one is the best to go by biggrin.gif i know that Imglidinhere will come here and will help me through this mostly tongue.gif but here are the options:
1-FORCE 16F3 Specs:i7 3610qm,16GB ram,750HDD,GTX675m
2-ASUS G55VW Specs:i7 3610qm,8GB ram,750HDD,GTX660m
3-
MSI GE70 Specs:i7 3610qm,8GB ram,750HDD,GTX660m

4-
MSI GX60 Specs:A10 4600m,7970m,8GB ram.750HDD

5-Sager NP9130 Specs:i7 3630qm,16gb ram,750HDD,GTX670xm stronger than the GTX670 and 3gb vs 1.5gb
6-Lenovo Y580 Specs:i7 3630qm,16gb ram,1tb HDD,GTX660m
Mainly i got i7+GTX660,i7+GTX670,i7+GTX670xm,i7+GTX675,A10 4600+7970m
MSI vs ASUS vs Sager vs Xotic Force vs Lenovo

I am a sager user through xotic pc so i know that Xotic force and sager are very good laptops,My cousin has a Lenovo Y470p and its a very good laptop too,MSI and ASUS are two of the best manufacturers for laptops too so I AM LOST frown.gif
each on has its goods next to the specs so as all in all package which one will you recommend?

Here is a good song every one so you dont get bored while reading this.

Actually i'm just as confused as you are, due to the fact that they are all good gaming books. So with that said I would have to go with the one that is the cheapest, since you cannot go wrong with any of them. thumb.gif

Guess what they are all range from 1180-1220

And second is the A10 4600m + 7970m faster than the Sager with the i7 3630qm+GTX670xm [take in fact that the GTX670xm is faster than the GTX675]

The GX60 is extremely underwhelming. The CPU scores lower than 7k in Vantage, which is sad considering the old i5-460M I used managed to score 7.5k and was merely a hyper-threaded dual core. >.> It severely bottlenecks the 7970M and it's just...unfortunate.

The 9130 with the 670MX is probably gonna be your best bet. smile.gif Supposedly it matches the 675M without a problem and, since it's based on Kepler, it's power draw is around half that of the Fermi counterpart. smile.gif Win-win. ^_^

The A10 is basically a dual core.

Its running 2 Piledriver Modules with each module running 2 cores. If you've read anything about AMD you'd know its a Dual core cut in half to a Quad sharing resources.

I will say that my NP9130 with my system specs, handles BF3 @ Medium setting @ around 60FPS. I will pick up a better GPU later, but I (or you) can only pick one up with a 75w TDP due to the power restraints on the mobo/psu.

Also keep in mind that XoticPC jacked up the price just before giving away all those "free" upgrades, most of which are useless fluff.

Also keep in mind that XoticPC jacked up the price just before giving away all those "free" upgrades, most of which are useless fluff.

really? they seem to be what they have been for a while, maybe I am off on that... I know my 8130 was much cheaper than the 9130, but the 9130 has a a step up from the GPU in the 8130. But you're right, even my 560m with a decent overclock ran BF3 well enough that It was enjoyable to play.

I do believe that the 8130/9130's max support gpu is 75w (although people have put 100w gpus in them with no apparent issue other than a PSU upgrade) and the 8150/9150 support 100w gpus. This is according to XoticPC, I contacted them to inquire about a 7970m for my 8130 when they came out.

I coulda swore it was $1069 prior to the sale.
