[TR] Apple enables 'Superstorm Sandy' donations in iTune Store - Page 28

For the record, because people twist things: Not once did I say what Apple is doing is a bad thing. I did say that they were doing it for publicity, and while it may help, I wasn't about to pat Apple on the back for YOUR donations, whether through iTunes or not.

I also said that I felt that it would be just as easy to donate to the Red Cross directly. Many agreed.

It's fascinating how this thread turned out. People tossing accusations around, accusing others of derailing the thread
while they engage in the very behavior they're so passionately against.

Literally this post sums up what I've said, and the bitter anger from some is just utterly ridiculous. You should state your view and let it go, stop trying to act like you're on some morale high ground and argue others to death.

PS: I hope iTunes brings more money for hurricane Sandy victims.

BAM, exactly. Equally, not once have I trashed Apple for this. I just said what you said, it's not something to praise them about and they ought to donate something themselves like many others have.

I cant believe you support Chinese import tea over British Import tea. Would have never expected anything so horrible from a mod on this terrible site.

I for one support British imported tea. thumb.gif

EDIT:

And for the record the French have very nice luggage.

Thread will be re-opened in the morning when the Clean-up is finished.

As a reminder to Everyone, stay on topic. This thread is about Hurricane Sandy & what Apple is doing to help.

Keep your personal feelings of Apple as a company, out of the topic; they do not belong and they will be removed.
