Hey,

My curreny gfx card is a AGP and im considering upgrading but Im not sure wether or not I have a PCI slot. COuld someone tell me how to check?
Don't you mean PCI Express? PCI is slower than AGP.

A PCI Express slot looks like this http://images.crucial.com/images/pci...s_callouts.jpg

The PCI slots are either White or Brown (Always a different colour than the AGP slot), and they're located below your AGP card.
You can't have a motherboard which doesn't have PCI slots.

However, if you're referring to PCI-E, then chances that you have that kind of slot, is minimal.

Well he said he wanted to UPGRADE from AGP so he must mean PCI-E

Well, PCI Slots are usually white. They're the bottom slots....on ALL motherboards.

But what you mean is PCI-Express/pci-e (same thing)

You probably don't have one...since you haev AGP. Usually motherboards don't have two graphics interconnects.

it's not really that much of an upgrade.... 6500 is integrated, isn't it?

Honestly dude, the lowest I'd go would be like....a 7600GS or GT or something....they're quite cheap nowadays. Get it online and save some big bucks
