Ive been able to get 1320Gpu clock
And 3506 memory clock so far with no issues or crashes.

Im going to see if the gpu clock will go a bit higher now.Im kinda blown since i read a good article that was 15 pages long very well explained(not saying name since im guessing its against the forum rules)
And they got without touching voltages same as me, lower benchmarks.

Im guessing luck was not on there side with the card or something.

I see, atleast i have a idea of what i should be looking at more or less.

One question when i use Evga oc scanner (not hitting test on prcision x) It maxes my card going to what its currently OC at.

When i hit test it dosent go anywhere near max load or power.

What should i be using to test. Am i doing something wrong here .

Jesus wait 1425Gpu core.Thats amazing.Did you touch voltages or did you just get the best card made by evga ever.

Well thats that.

I ended up with 1320(ive seen it spike up to 1340) gpu clock
and 3758 memory clock.

Did not change voltage in any way.

If i got up by 1 on gpu clock it crashes.
For memory clock if i go up by 50 it crashes.

So im pretty happy.

Aswell the test on precision x just didnt seem to like me already having another instance open i think thats why the test were not working otherwise it works fine now.

If anyone could clear some questions up for me itd be great.

I ended up running OC scanner x to test stability.
And i also was running around using inter explorer.I ended up finding in the report 2-3 artifacts.
So i tuned down my card to 99 gpu clock
and 680 memory clock,
Im more then happy with these values, but could the artifacts be due to me minimizing and maximizing IE.

Also does getting artifacts mean you got to your cards max , and that even getting higher voltage would be useless or could higher voltage fix the problem.

Thank you so much.

And sorry for all the double posts im used to a selling forum that auto merges posts within 6 hours.

i own 2 msi gtx 680 lightning..its is the best card out now..because you can unlock the voltage..on the classified they are all voltage locked unless you bought the evbot before it was took off shelves..the reason your artifacting is because it needs more voltage to run at that speed.and your card useage isnt at 100% cause you probably have vsync on in nvidia control panel.it syncs to your monitors framerate of 60. so turn that off and you will get higher frames...also i noticed when you are overclocking your card.turn the fan off auto and set it to 50.i noticed when its on auto you cant overclock as high also i would worry about your core clock more then memory.so turn your memory down and add more to the core.

and if your getting around 1350 stable..that is a great card on air with out voltage..i max out about 1380mhz with out voltage.but with voltage i can overclock higher..also i can add voltage to my memory also thats why i can overclock both so high compared to other cards..the msi is the only 6 searies card that you can add volts and recieve very high overclocks. and the 2vs4gb of memory is a marketing scheme.i had 2 4gb 670 ftws.but i took them back for my lightnings cause they were hot and the memory bandwith on the 6 searies cards are way to low for even 4gb of memory. unless you are running 3 2560x1600 monitors.there is no need for 4gb.....but 4 is allways better then 2 and will last longer in the future..i update my cards like 2 times a year. so i am never worried about future proofing. but if you can pick up an evbot and wc that classified..you could easily hit 1450-1500mhz.

Well right now what i do with my pc isnt gpu intensive.Im kind of a streamer(all cpu)And i play WOW.So yea go figure.

But i mean im really happy with the card, i still havent slept been painting the pc case and all.And right now im on vent with a friend attacking my Cpu overclock.

But thanks for everything man.So far the card has been stable for a good 24 hours so id say i can trust these settings. The temperature is also fairly low, i switched my pc from the horrid position i had it in (exuast fans both next to a wall 1 inch away) And now im running at around 50 +-5c On load.In game so Im very happy. +1

I wish i would have known about msi but sincerely i cant complain.
