Gigabyte windforce sli 670 on a sabertooth x79

Hey all,
Looking to get another 670 for my comp and running it in SLI, but looking at my mobo its look like the GPU's will be pretty much on top of each other. Was wondering if i need to upgrade cooling on the GPU's or will Gigabyte stock fans be enough to keep it cool.

Ive got a Corsair 500r case and a h100 in push/pull for my cpu cooler.

if anyone done a SLI with this case/mobo anything else i should know!?

Cheers in advance thumb.gif

They're non reference cards, so you want at least a single slot gap in between them. I have these cards (only the GTX680 version) in the Corsair C70, the top card runs about 8-9c hotter than the bottom under load (On stock fan profiles), that's with a single slot gap. If you sandwich them expect the temps to be much higher than that. Also make sure you set your side panel fans to exhaust because the cooler spits out hot air in that direction. The good thing about these cards is that they're only 2 slot so it's great for SLI. By the looks of that mobo you should have a slot in between the cards so you're all good.

Good luck m8 smile.gif
