Need help restoring GS3

Thread Starter
Over the summer, I rooted my US Cellular GS3 to mess around with some OC'ing programs and power management programs and since then, I've been getting software updates that couldn't install (presumably because it was rooted).

I used this with Odin to flash it.

I decided to unroot it today following the directions from the same site- here.

Once I did that, I completely lost signal and after some Google-ing, I read that doing a factory reset would fix it now that I had removed all the root stuff from it, but it still has the same no service problem that's not allowing me to activate it after I do the factory reset. I'm honestly lost. This is the first I've dealt with rooting and all the information is spread around in so many places and layered with jargon that I don't understand. I'd just really appreciate an easy, comprehensive walkthrough to getting back to a stock US Cellular GS3. I have read that I could have lost my IMEI, but I'm not really sure what that means. Thanks in advance.

Edit: Would this solve my problem?

US Cellular

Edit: going ahead and trying that LJ7 JellyBean stock flash that I linked to in the edit above. Once it reboots, I'll report back.

Edit2: The flash itself worked, but it did nothing about the no service issue. I'm thinking it is the IMEI problem.

Thanks. Unfortunately, that's causing more problems than it's solving. Version 2.7.323 of QPST didn't recognize my phone and version 2.7.378 gives me a "exception thrown: bad response from phone" error when I get into the RF NV Manager.

IMEI=International Mobile Equipment Identity, The IMEI number is used by a GSM network to identify valid devices
You can find out your IMEI number either on the box your phone came in or by inputting this code *#06# on your phones keypad.
Did you back your device up while rooting? Especially your efs.folder?

I'm gonna do more reading smile.gif, so far I found a ToolKit that supports US Cellular on this thread,

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1746665

But I'll have further investigate your issue and see if I can scoop up anything I find that maybe benefit you, and I'll post links if I do find something interesting smile.gif

Thank you. I came across that as well. I just downloaded and installed it, but so far, I'm not seeing anything concerning the IMEI.
Here's the program/walkthrough I'm talking about at the moment- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1801997

I sent the OP, the guy who made the IMEI restore program, a PM about the problem I mentioned above, so I guess I'm just playing the waiting game now. I made my own thread on the xda forum and I was told to flash my modem with VRLF2, but that wouldn't work with either Odin or CWM.

Edit: I kept searching and finally found a stock US Cellular ROM. I read that flashing it could solve the IMEI issue, so I went ahead and did it in addition to resetting my flash count, just in case I needed to send it in. Fortunately, that worked and I'm having no problems so far. Thanks for the info, guys.
