I think we all thought you were looking to upgrade for the sake of upgrading, not that you were going to give away the old one. At least that's the way I read your OP.

Are you going to reuse any parts, or are you looking for a complete new build?

Nah, bad assumption on my part. How about this build:

Intel i5-2570K $220
ASRock Z77 Extreme4 $125
G.Skill Ripjaws X 8GB DDR3-1600 $30 (with promo)
CoolerMaster Hyper 212+ EVO $25 (after MIR)
Seasonic S12II 430W $60
WD Caviar Blue 1TB $85
Gigabyte HD 7870 GHz Edition $240

That's $790 and then add a case of your choice and overclock the 3570K to 4.4 and it'll pretty much punch your old system in the nuts (although that's mostly the 7870).

If you want to save $40, how about the Corsair Builder Series CX430 $20 (after promo code and MIR)

this is true i forgot about that... if i was just going to upgrade my sysetm and just wanted a new graphics card would that help run games better?

The only thing in your system that really needs an upgrade would be the video card. The 7870 is somewhere in the neighborhood of 30-40% faster than a 560 Ti (less if you are talking about the 560 Ti 448 Core version), so you'd see a good improvement just by making that switch.

I would opt for a little bigger power supply, not that you absolutely need one....just to give you more room for future upgrades ect. How about a CORSAIR Builder Series CX600? It is 170 watts more for only $10 more, and a much better overall product.

The Corsair has 1 single 12V rails, instead of 2 like the Seasonic has so you won't have to worry about load balancing. Additionally, the Corsair has a combined total of 46amps on the 12V rails, while the Seasonic has 34 Amps.

Also, how about a SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ . It is a bit faster than the WD blue, and a bit more reliable for $5 less!

It is not that much of a deal ($10 less than the other are offering), but it would be a good card for your build if you could budget it in.

The 660Ti and the 7870 swap blows and are very close.

The 7870 is more bank for your buck than the 660Ti. But the 660Ti overclocks to GTX 670 speeds, and is a pretty robust card.

Either way is a very good choice. It is more a personal preference thing.
