Gaming PC Plans (would like some tips or advices) - Page 2

Assuming that you are going to overclock your processor since you plan on buying an H100, i would ditch that motherboard. those motherboards only have a 4+2 power phase, and i also have a 4+2 power phase motherboard with my 8120 and i was only able to get to 3.7ghz mad.gif
A cheap Gigabyte 990FX UD3 will fair you very well and you will be able to get a beefy overclock out of it with its 8+2 power phase thumb.gif Link: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128514

As for the GPU, i would go with the MSI Hawk because i have the 7870 Twin Frozr edition of the 7870 which is a small step below the Hawk, and it stays silent during heavy GPU usage (BF3, Just Cause 2, GTA IV with icenhancer and extreme textures, etc.) It also can overclock like crazy! I got my 7870 up to 1170mhz core and 1400mhz memory all on the stock voltages completely stable! thumb.gif

Hope I helped smile.gif

Any reason you don't want to go with intel on the CPU? I would go with a i5 2500k with that build and a z68 or z77 motherboard. That combined with a H100 will OC like a beast thumb.gif

he has a budget of 800 € minus what he spent on the power supply he already bought. i think he said he had 750 € left if its possible to make that build and have everything else i would like to see that.

I'm getting the parts 1 by 1 so the budget is a little flexible. Just depends on my patience ;P

Understand that i do second that gigabyte board waffles887 mentioned. i have that board its a good solid board i haven't had any problems with it for the 2 1/2 months i have had it. Only problem i have had was setting memory speed of the ram other then that no problems. The ud 5 and ud7 versions of that board are also good to.
