Help with $200-$250 tablet for Christmas Gift for sons (cheaper the better) !!

I am not very familiar with tablets at all. I just got my first android phone (Galaxy Note) a few months ago and love it. I was looking at a tablet around 7" (10" are out of range for the price I think).

I prefer at least ICS, but gingerbread is ok if the price is right. I would like the camera and it should be able to play apps and games (since the kids are 13 yo and 7 yo). I would like a expandable media slot (micro SD 16-64 gig compatible).

It doesn't have to be the best of the best, should be decent though in that price range I hope. Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.

I would say nexus 7 although it only has a front facing camera you can get one for 200$ the 16gb and for 250 you can get the 32gb, although i personally dont own one, i have used one and everyone who i know that owns one loves it. it isnt so bulky that you cant hold it with one hand, yet not so small that you have to hold it close to your face to read the text. Also one other thing it doesn't have a sd card slot thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif

Anything cheaper than those aren't going to perform well and be outdated. So i'd say get the acer or the nexus 7

Then I'd recommend the 32GB Nexus 7. I find that to be more than enough space for everything I'll ever use a tablet for, but that's just me tongue.gif We all have different user requirements.
