Fortnite - The ultimate Zombie game?

For those that may not know.....

http://fortnitegame.com/

So Epic's games are, well, epic, and I am over the top excited for this game. Someone that has the talent and funding has brought together an advanced Minecraft, with a zombie survival game.

The premise is that you will team up with other people, each able to pick a class, and survive. During the day you will have to gather supplies and building materials, and at night, bunker down. This isn't a run and gun "survival" game, this is a hold onto your pants and try to keep the fort while floods of zombies try to eat your brains!

You will have weight limits on how much you can carry, so picking the right supplies will be critical. It isn't Minecraft where you can have an entire mountain in your pocket. Take too much, and you might not make it back to base quick enough! Don't take enough? Well, you might not survive the night.

While Epic hasn't been specific on all classes they have made mention of a Construction class and a Melee class. I would expect to see a demolition class and, of course, a ranged class as well. I wouldn't be surprised to see a "tank" class in the mix to act as a meat shield for when the walls ARE breached.

On the subject of building.....

It isn't micro-building like you see in Minecraft, but more like Legos. You will have pre-defined shapes and patterns that you build, which can then be stuck together. Epic has said once this system is mastered, the number of buildings you can make is near limitless. While I won't argue not as limitless as you see with micro-building, I would venture a guess that it will be enough!
