Old school temp monitor broken?

Yes, I know this external system is old (HydroCool 200), but I was wondering if you guys knew how I could fix a certain problem I am having. It cools my cpu just fine, but the temp monitor on the front is frozen, it never registers differing temperatures. it's stuck at 54F or 12C... Is there anything I can do to fix this? New thermometer? Wiring shorted? Thanks all.

If it's a digital one there probably isn't much you can do...If it's a analog try taking it out and tapping it shake it or something to get it loose....You might be able to take the cover off it and spray the little coil on the back with WD-40 and carefully try working the needle...If all else fails see if this would fit in it..............Digital Thermometer with Blue LED Back Light [TTR-M4-B] : Performance-PCs.com, ... sleeve it and they will come
