I said a short while ago that the iPad 4 has the most powerful graphics. Deeldo replied and said that the Surface Pro did. I replied and I said that despite that the iPad will still have better graphics for some games, because developers don't optimise for the HD 4000 because it's on the low end of the spectrum in regard to graphics, whereas the SGX543MP2/SGX554MP4 and SGX543MP3 are on the other hand, the most powerful on iOS and thus games are optimised for it.
The Intel HD 4000 graphics aren't capable of playing Crysis: Warhead on anything but the lowest settings at 1920x1080, if it can even handle that... which is why I'm comparing the lowest end graphics in Crysis: Warhead, to what N.O.V.A 3 has.
How is that difficult to understand? Stop going on about Crysis having more depth and such, of course it does. That was never my argument.
No. This thread is derailed because several members here, yourself included, are twisting what I originally said into an argument I never made.
Yep...
Anyway...
Here's some screenshots of both N.O.V.A 3 and Crysis: Warhead (on lowest settings) reaffirming my point, that despite HD 4000 graphics being more powerful, games optimised for the SGX543MP2 can look better:

Dude, this isn't even an Apple vs whatever argument from me. This is a game development argument. Of course NOVA is going to achieve more by doing less, that was my point. I'm not twisting or doing anything, I'm just saying the reason NOVA looks better on mobile devices than Crysis does is because of many, many various reasons and therefore you shouldn't be attempting to use this for an argument. I'm trying to save you face here man!
NOVA is rendering what's basically a corridor, with a low level of detail render distance (compared to low settings on Crysis, as is everything I'm saying here) with lower AI and physics. What they save in horsepower by doing these things they can use slightly higher res textures. The polys are still primitive looking and there is not a single lick of AA anywhere. Higher resolution textures make it look nice, but there is so much more going on in Crysis which demands more horse power. Crysis has much larger levels, a higher LOD, higher basic physics, the same AI regardless of detail settings and many more things.
You can't use this Crysis vs NOVA argument in the slightest. It doesn't work. NOVA, Shadowgun, Dead Trigger, et al, all use shortcuts and workarounds to look that nice.
