Question on Windows 7 OEM licence

Thread Starter
If I have a motherboard failure with a copy of windows 7 OEM installed, will Microsoft give me a new key if my motherboard has a failure and is replaced by the manufacturer?

I can't seem to find an actual answer from Google.

Yes the OEM Windows 7 identifies itself with the motherboard type. So if the manufacturer replaces it with the same model motherboard you should be fine smile.gif
