Piledriver overclocking issue

Thread Starter
Im having an issue overclocking my 8120.

Temps are not the problem they don't go over 44C.

I can get it to 4.3ghz perfectly fine.

When i try to go over that It boots fine and runs benchmarks fine

but after a couple of mine benchmarking for 2 / 3 seconds the vcore drops from 1.42 multiplier X21 to 0.85 vcore and X7 multiplier.

I have diabled
LLC
Cool n quiet
turbo mode
and the other power management controller AGM is it???

Any idea why its still dropping multi and vcore?

Enable LLC and place it to a level which will create the same VCORE in CPU-Z when under load as you have placed in the bios, usually Level 2 for ASROCK.

You could also try resetting the cmos battery, or flashing to a newer bios.
It could be something else that is causing the problem at hand.
Do you know if the VRMS are overheating?
Does it occur at any other frequency?
Have you tried upping the VCore?
Is your ram stable? Try running a memtest.
