. There is so much data in this thread alone to show otherwise that making an opposite claim without showing any new evidence is not very constructive.
Also, I wouldn't say 7950 overclocks as high as 7970. Some will, most will not.

Yes, all Tahiti chips overclock similarly.
Having said that, a 7950 per clock is ~4% slower than a 7970. A 7970(1275/1725) is 5-11% faster than an overclocked 680 Lightning(1346/1800). Theoretically, a 7950 @ 1275/1725 would be ~1-7% faster than this same Lightning 680.
All other 680s with no voltage control wouldn't stand a chance.
