So I had this keyboard delivered to work, plugged it in and it worked flawlessly. I brought it home and hooked it up to my main pc and got a usb device not recognized error. I checked the seating on both ends, and after a couple of tries in different usb ports it randomly worked, so I chalked it up to randomness and used it. I shut down my computer for the day. Next day I turn on my PC and get no keyboard in the bios. When it gets to windows I hear the usb connection sound repeat several times (not on/off, just on/on/on/on/on/on), then the usb device not recognized deal. So I reboot into bios settings with my old keyboard, and suddenly the quickfire works in the bios settings. reboot, same issue. I tried in N key, reboot. 6 Key, reboot. Different polling rates, reboot. Always the same in windows (x64).
I have an Asus M4A89GTD USB3 mobo.
So to recap, works fine with other computers, works fine in bios settings, boots to windows and stops working. It has to be something I'm doing wrong but I can't figure out what. It's a keyboard anyway, I shouldn't have to be an engineer to get it to work...
