Is it worth getting an xbox 360 for console exclusives? Also another question? - Page 2

Just in case anyone is thinking about picking up a new Xbox 360 for Halo 4 you should know that to play multiplayer it requires you to install 6 to 8 gb's of data onto the hard drive. If that is the case, the cheap 4 gb Xbox 360 you can buy would not suffice.

Just a fair warning.

*EDIT*
I should edit in here I have not seen this for myself so it may not be true, but I have read it on two different gaming sites.

Thread Starter
Well, I am considering grabbing the Holiday Bundle around Black Friday. Its price just got reduced to $250, and there's rumors that it will go low as $200 around the holidays like last year. And that comes with the 250gb console package, 2 games I could sell and free 3 month live membership!

I really do hate to buy the Xbox just for Halo 4 currently, but the Halo series is probably the most important to me in probably all the video game series I have played! Plus I'm sure there will be more console exclusives to come along and if not I can always sell the xbox down the road and make a few bucks back.

P.S. My friend has been trying hard to convince me all night to get a PS3 instead, but quite frankly there's only a few PS3 exclusives I would actually play and most of those are heavily offline based. Plus I think I am drawn to the Xbox more, it is familiar territory for me and I would just get more use out of it, especially with multiplayer. thumb.gif

C'mon!, Really!? Halo multiplayer can installs the USB 16GB if owner had the 4GB XB360 system without issues.

I own a Xbox 360 and obviously a decent PC, and I would say yes. It's a little late in the game, but I owned an Xbox 360 since 2005. Never once regretted it, I would not advise you to buy both of the twins though, just pick one. I had a PS3 for about a month, then sold it back within 30 days.

Like I said man I was just passing on what I had read from two different sites. They said you had to install to a hard drive. Nothing about a USB stick was mentioned. I'm not saying you can't, just that I don't know.

This opinion is from someone who was a bit of a PS3 fanboy to begin with.

I got an Xbox and it is totally worth it, have both consoles if you can each have their own awesome exclusives.

Live is much better than PSN for me, the stability, matchmaking and general quality of online games outweigh the cost personally.
