Free 3M carbon fiber vinyl samples?

So I actually haven't gotten any yet because I am a bit confused on how to fill out the order form. I, being only a teenager, do not work for a company (does YouTube count haha) so I'm unsure on what to put for that section. If anyone has filled this out or has any suggestions that'd be super awesome!

Some people have managed to get some based on saying they use it as a hobby (e.g. computer modding). I just don't know what I'd put for that...

after years of working with carbon fiber, i will say if you want the carbon fiber look, just get real carbon fiber. it's not hard to get or work with. fake fiber looks so cheesy and easily spotted as fake. real deal is cool and looks cool.

Working with real carbon fiber is not only extremely expensive, but also is extremely time consuming, and the resins make a huge mess.

For a PC or something, using something like 3M's vinyl is perfectly fine.

I have been doing some shopping around for black carbon sheets. If you never plan to remove it then you can get off brand, it looks just as good as 3M and is half the price or less.

Alright, I did this a little over two days ago. I said I was working for mnpctech.com and I that I would like to try out their 1080 series vinyl. The customer support lady basicly asked me the same questions that you are asked to answer on the online form. They are currently on backorder for 6-8 weeks. She said that she would give me a call as soon as they got them in stock again to confirm the shipping address. For every question I put Other -> Computer Modding. Hope this helps you guys out! thumb.gif

I got 5 sample pack from them a little while back. Keep in mind that these sample packs are intended for people who are looking to start vinyl wrapping. It's mostly intended for automotive applications. Also, fake carbon fibre is nothing compared to the real deal. Yes working with real carbon fibre may be difficult, but it's much more moldable and gives a much better result.
