Cases NOT Made in China

Thread Starter
Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone knew of some cases NOT made in China. I've got a buddy that is one of those ridiculously anti-China people, and he wants to try to make himself a 100% non-China PC.

The only two things I'm struggling to find is a case and power supply for him. From what I'm seeing, even a company like Zalman that's in South Korea has their cases Made in China.

So yeah, if anyone knows of cases or case manufacturers that are not Made in China, please let me know! It sucks Danger Den is now gone, I'm pretty sure none of their cases were Made in China.

I'd rather not start a completely different thread, so if someone knows of any power supplies that fit the same build, please advise!

Best,

-Blacker.

Firstly, tell your friend he is completely ridiculous - what is his reasoning behind 'anti-China'?
Secondly, does he seriously only want a case that is not made in China? So- Taiwan, Thailand are all plausible? If so, that's pretty absurd to be honest. As you have experienced, he is going to have a tough time finding a company who doesn't make cases, or at least parts, from China.
I was thinking Bit-Fenix, but i've found they too are produced in China.
You're going to have to find a specialist (someone link Case Labs who have a rep on here), or go fully custom if he is that bent on going non-China.
Good luck. thumb.gif

Case Labs cases are made here in the USA I believe. Very nice, and expensive. Or even, check out out OCN member Dwood. He may be willing to fabricate something for you as well.

Case lab and Danger den, the Tripple X bench or something of the sort, Little Divel are all costum made, quite expensive but not from china

Other than the case, has he considered it's pretty much impossible to find a motherboard that is made 100% USA? A lot of taiwan and chinese parts in those.

But as mentioned above, pretty much all storage devices (SSDs, conventional HDs) are made in Asian countries.

It's going to be more trouble and $$ than it's worth, but i guess that's why manufacturing is exported. redface.gif

Danger Den is out of business, Mountain mods maybe?

Edit: Mountain Mods is proudly USA machined.

As stated, Case Labs, Mountain Mods, Little Devil, maybe even Lian Li. My choice would be Case Labs, i have one and it's awesome if you want to water cool.

Thanks for all the responses! Yes, he is an idiot, I completely agree. He's a Republican in America, what do you expect? lol and come on now, I drive a Honda... He drives a Pontiac and thinks it's Made in America(.... It wasn't).

Now I will clarify, he knows he won't get the parts all made in America, he knows that as well. He wants to try to find all parts just not made in China -- He doesn't care about Taiwan, Malaysia, Korea, etc. Yes he is ridiculous lol. Again, he's the crazy nutso Republican, not I smile.gif

Again, thanks for the responses! This is what I expected to find, but I do appreciate the input. Anyone have any idea on power supplies?
