before buying this cpu I've read many of its featyres like lucid virtu, intel smart reponse etc. I use my pc for gaming and I have none of them installed atm. what features do you think I should install? should I bother installing them at all? TIA OCN

No need to install it unless you are going to use it for something (2nd screen or something) seeing as you have a 680 there would be no point.

IRST i think is mostly for SSD caching so yea i wouldn't bother with that either.

Just De-lid him and go for 5ghz lol.

I'm about to try the same in a few days but I'm going to be using AC MX-2 instead. From what I've heard Coollaboratory Liquid Pro or Ultra is best due to it's similar thermal properties as the fluxless solder Intel use to put under the IHS.

afaik you only HAVE TO install two, the rapid storage and the management engine.

Its most likely that windows "installed" it already. I am sure if you looked in your list of drivers it would be there.
